Young actor Naga Shourya is currently busy in upcoming youthful romantic entertainer, which has been titled as Chalo. Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna, of Kirik Party fame on the board to play the female lead role in this film, which is being helmed by Venky Kudumala. The story backdrop of the film was set in Andhra Pradesh and TamilNadu border.
The director Venky Kudumala is very excited after completing his debut Chalo and said, “It's been a wonderful journey. Naga Shaurya and I go back a long way. I prepared the script of Chalo especially for Naga Shourya. When I narrated the script to the actor and his family, they were very impressed and decided to produce it. The entire shoot of the film has been wrapped up Censor process also completed and we got a clean "U" for this movie which means entrire family audience along with college batch can engjoy the movie and I'm relieved that everything has gone well. I am now keeping my fingers crossed for the release.”
The first look poster of the film that features Naga Shourya with a backpack at the entrance arch to a town Timappuram, engraved in both Telugu and Tamil. The director also spoke about the film and said, “Chalo is a college love story set in the Andhra Pradesh-Tamil Nadu border. We chose the fictional name of Timappuram for the town. Naga Shourya will be seen playing the role of a student from Hyderabad who enrolls in the college.” Venky concluded it by saying that Chalo is a straight Telugu film but he is planning to release it in Tamil also in the month of December. Chalo is bankrolled under Naga Shourya’s production banner of Ira Creations and is ready to hit the big screen on Feb 2nd
